The demand of most customer industries remained at a high level throughout the year. Wacker silicone business unit achieved annual sales of 2.6 billion euros, an increase of 16% over the previous year (2.24 billion euros). EBITDA increased to 555 million euros (2020: 388 million euros), an increase of 43% year-on-year.
