Polydimethylsiloxane can be mixed with Lanolin, stearyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, glycerol monostearate, tween, span and other surfactants as emulsion matrix. Adding film forming agents such as PVP, PVA and cellulose derivatives to this product can enhance its protection.
