Through "smart construction", the national speed skating hall has created a "Winter Olympic speed" to complete the main construction in 8 months. The facade "Ribbon" curved glass curtain wall is the world's largest span orthogonal two-way single-layer saddle shaped roof. The high-tech curved glass curtain wall system assembled from 3360 curved glass units creates a "Ribbon" shape symbolizing the high-speed sliding of speed skaters. Each piece of glass has different bending radians, forming 22 "ice ribbons" circling high and low and dancing around.






The interior adopts the all ice design, with an ice surface area of about 12000 square meters, which is currently the largest ice surface in Asia. At the same time, it adopts the world's most environmentally friendly and advanced ice making technology and uses carbon dioxide transcritical direct cooling to make ice.






"Ice ribbon" sets a new benchmark for the Olympic Games in terms of green, environmental protection and sustainability.
