In overseas markets, the continuous expansion of rubber product and coating industries in Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions, as well as overseas customers’ demand for supply chain diversification and reduction of risks from single-region supply chains, also brings brand-new market opportunities for exports of domestic precipitated silica.

  In terms of market conditions, the price of domestic general rubber-grade precipitated silica remains stable on the whole with limited fluctuation. Fluctuations in raw material costs keep squeezing profit margins of the industry. High-end functional precipitated silica enjoys stronger pricing power and becomes the major profit growth point for material manufacturers. From a medium and long-term perspective, with the sustained development of downstream new energy and new material industries and the promotion of global low-carbon policies, high-end special precipitated silica boasts broad market growth space, and domestic material enterprises will embrace greater development opportunities. Nevertheless, industrial challenges cannot be overlooked. The long-term application verification cycle of high-end grades is lengthy, and downstream customer certification barriers are high. Domestic enterprises still need continuous investment in R&D and application testing to gradually seize market share from overseas brands. Overseas counterparts are also continuously iterating products and processes. Domestic enterprises need to stick to technological innovation, consolidate local market share and steadily explore overseas markets.
