The export volume of general silicone rubber and basic silicone oil remains stable, capturing overseas markets by virtue of cost advantages. The import volume of high-end modified silicone oil and special silicone resin gradually declines, while the export volume of domestic special silicone materials increases year by year, with growing orders from Southeast Asia, Europe and North America. The construction of overseas new energy industries drives the demand for supporting silicone materials, bringing broad overseas market opportunities for domestic new material enterprises. Meanwhile, overseas technical barriers and product certification requirements force domestic enterprises to improve their product testing systems, complete international certifications and further enhance their global competitiveness.

  Industry analysts point out that the future growth of the organic silicone industry will no longer come from the expansion of basic monomer capacity, but from the continuous innovation of special modified organic silicone new materials. Emerging downstream industries keep generating new material demands, promoting the iterative upgrading of organic silicone molecular design and modification processes.
