In April 2025, the global organic silicon industry made significant progress, and its subsidiary group's annual production of 1.6 million tons of organic silicon project was fully launched in Wucaiwan Industrial Park, Zhundong Economic and Technological Development Zone, Xinjiang. The project started construction on April 1st and is planned to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026. After completion, it will become a benchmark project in the global field of organic silicon materials.
This project relies on its subsidiary group's comprehensive resources in Xinjiang, including quartz mines, industrial silicon, methanol, polycrystalline silicon, and self owned power plants, to form a fully silicon-based industrial chain loop of "quartz mines industrial silicon organic silicon high-end materials" through vertical integration. The core process adopts internationally leading technology and is equipped with the world's largest single synthesis unit, largest distillation tower, largest hydrolysis reactor, and methylchlorosilane synthesis reactor, achieving dual improvements in raw material conversion rate and production efficiency, and reducing comprehensive energy consumption by 15% compared to industry standards.
As a national strategic emerging industry project, its sub group targets high value-added fields such as photovoltaic packaging materials, electronic grade silicone resin, and medical silicone. The project integrates AI production control system and green electricity coupling process, which can drive downstream output value of over 20 billion yuan after production, filling the 30% production capacity gap of high-end organic silicon products in China. The CEO of the group stated that through the three-dimensional innovation of resources, technology, and market, the company is transforming from a traditional resource-based enterprise to a new material solution provider. This project will drive the global market share of Chinese organic silicon to increase from 35% to 45%. At present, the project has obtained 12 core patent authorizations and has jointly established a joint laboratory with the Institute of Silicon Materials, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
